Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Who can see my tasting notes?

By default, your comments are completely private. They are only shared with your explicit consent, for example when you participate in a session.

In the case of a collaborative account (team data sharing), comments remain private within the group: only its members can view and use them.

In all cases, you retain full control over your data.

Can I export my data from Tastee?

Yes. Users with a paid subscription can export their data.

Upon request to support@winespace.fr, your comments can be exported in CSV format.

What’s the difference between Tastee and other consumer wine-rating apps?

Designed for wine and spirits professionals, Tastee is a professional tool for analyzing and enhancing tasting data. Thanks to powerful algorithms developed through many years of R&D, Tastee provides a solid analytical foundation for understanding, comparing, and managing sensory perception with precision.

Unlike consumer apps, which are mainly designed as spaces for discovery and sharing favorites, Tastee is aimed at professionals seeking rigor, consistency, and reliability in taste analysis.

Is Tastee available in multiple languages?

Yes. The interfaces and analytical results are available in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.

Tastee can also analyze comments written in 32 languages (fr, de, en, es, it, pt, ru, zh, ja, nl, da, sv, nb, pl, cs, fi, tr, and others).

What happens to my data if I don’t renew my subscription or if I delete my account?

Your data will not disappear. If you do not renew your subscription, data access will be limited (free version), but you will still be able to access all your written comments.

If you delete your account, your data may be securely retained in accordance with our privacy policy.

Does the AI “correct” or modify my comments?

No. Tastee never changes your comments. The AI only analyzes them to extract and summarize information.If a sentence is incomplete, ambiguous, or unusable, it is simply ignored.

For optimal analyses, make sure your comments are written clearly, precisely, and with proper punctuation.

Does Tastee work with products other than wine and spirits?

The Tastee AI currently analyzes comments on wines and spirits.

For other products (beer, coffee, tea, chocolate, etc.), our team is exploring possible extensions.

Does Tastee use my comments to train its AI?

Tastee analyzes your comments to extract useful information and turn it into actionable data. When the AI encounters information it doesn’t understand, our team of experts and oenologists helps it grasp the meaning. This enables it to better interpret similar information in the future, always in full respect of your data.
