Decanter Fine Wine Encounter - New York 2026

The Decanter Fine Wine Encounter returns to New York on Saturday 6 June 2026 for its fifth consecutive edition. Organised by Decanter, the world's leading fine wine publication, this one-day tasting experience takes place on the 60th floor of Manhatta in Lower Manhattan, with sweeping views of the city skyline as a backdrop for an exceptional line-up of wines and producers.

Now firmly established as New York's premier fine wine event, DFWE NYC brings together 55 prestigious producers from across the globe, each presenting four wines including at least one special cuvee awarded 95+ points by Decanter. The event is designed for passionate wine lovers seeking both discovery and depth, whether through the Grand Tasting floor, the curated masterclasses or the intimate Winemakers' Lunch.

Confirmed producers for 2026 include E. Guigal, Chateau d'Esclans, Mazzei and Ridge Vineyards. Masterclasses will focus on Salon and Delamotte (hosted by Cristian Rimoldi), iconic Super Tuscans (led by Italian wine expert Michela Morris) and Napa Valley legend Heitz Cellar.

What to expect

• Grand Tasting: A relaxed, walk-around tasting with 55 producers pouring 300+ wines, including special cuvees selected by the Decanter editorial team. Producers are present to share their stories and answer questions directly.
• Expert-led masterclasses: Focused sessions on Champagne (Salon and Delamotte), Super Tuscans and Napa Valley (Heitz Cellar). Sold separately from Grand Tasting tickets.
• Winemakers' Lunch: An intimate dining experience combining fine food with exclusive wines, hosted alongside winemakers and members of the Decanter editorial team. Spaces are extremely limited.
• DWWA Award-winning bar: A dedicated bar showcasing wines recognised at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
