La Grande Dégustation des Primeurs – Edition 2026 is organised by Terre de Vins in partnership with 1Jour1Vin — France’s leading wine e-commerce platform — and takes place on Tuesday, 9 June 2026 at the prestigious Hôtel InterContinental Paris – Le Grand.
This is a rare opportunity for the general public to explore the 2025 Bordeaux vintage in preview, in the company of château owners and their teams. Around forty selected cuvées will be presented in primeur — before official market release — allowing visitors to taste, compare, and assess the character of this new vintage at first hand.
Throughout the evening, visitors can interact directly with producers, deepen their knowledge of the 2025 growing season, and explore wines at every level — from well-established names to more confidential estates. A special on-the-night purchasing offer is proposed by La Grande Cave and 1Jour1Vin, with over 250 references available.
The primeur system is a cornerstone of the Bordeaux wine trade. Each spring, châteaux release barrel samples of their new vintage to buyers and critics ahead of bottling and commercial release. These early tastings give professionals and enthusiasts alike the chance to assess potential — the structure, freshness and ageing capacity of wines still in élevage.
Cuvées presented at this event will reflect the full range of the Bordeaux vintage, from the Merlot-dominant Right Bank to the Cabernet-forward estates of the Médoc — offering a genuine cross-section of the 2025 appellation landscape.
