The Sparkling Wines Session of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026 is an international competition dedicated to all sparkling and semi-sparkling wines, of all colours — dry, semi-dry or sweet — from around the world, highlighting the diversity of styles, origins and typicities.
Held from 3 to 5 July 2026 in Sardinia (Italy), this session takes place in a wine-producing region renowned for the richness of its sparkling wines and its dynamic wine culture.
Over the course of three days, an international jury of experts will evaluate the wines through blind tastings, following the rigorous quality and objectivity standards that have built the reputation of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles notably uses Tastee technology, developed by Winespace, to analyse and synthesise the judges’ tasting notes, providing producers with precise and actionable feedback on how their wines were perceived.
For wine professionals, this session offers a unique opportunity to explore global trends in the sparkling wine sector, taste an outstanding selection of international sparkling wines and exchange with tasters, oenologists and buyers from around the world.
For producers, it represents a valuable opportunity to have their sparkling wines evaluated, compete for prestigious medals — including special trophies by category — and enhance the visibility of their wines among international professionals and consumers.
This session is one of the four components of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, a prestigious competition renowned for its impartiality, rigorous organisation and strong commercial impact for awarded wines.
