Feature

A new way to read a wine's taste, with more precision, more depth and an unprecedented level of detail.
Tastee reports let you analyse and visualise the taste of wines and spirits. This new version goes even further: sharper aroma and palate profiles, a brand-new qualitative analysis and a level of detail that turns every tasting note into a real product-knowledge tool.
For an at-a-glance overview of the wine.

Until now, the Tastee report displayed aromas as broad families with their main associated descriptors. A clear, efficient reading of a wine's profile.
The new report goes further still in precision. Dominant aromas are now ranked by intensity, with a numerical score for each and the detailed descriptors that make them up. Palate characteristics are measured and visualised with their respective intensity levels. You now know not only which aromas stand out, but in what proportion and with what precision.
A focus on perceived quality.

Until now, the report presented a wine's strengths and weaknesses as two separate lists. This new version enriches that reading with an overall view of how the wine's quality is perceived.
The new report introduces two additions. The qualitative balance first: a global indicator that instantly measures the proportion of strengths and weaknesses identified across all the comments. At a glance, you know whether a wine is perceived mostly positively or not, and in what proportion.
The qualitative summary completes this view.

Each characteristic is analysed individually: you know how often it is mentioned and how it is perceived. Clicking on one of them reveals the number of comments that judge it positively or negatively out of the session total, their visual breakdown as a percentage, as well as the full list of descriptors most used by tasters with their respective number of mentions. A precision that turns a tasting session into a real product-analysis tool.

The aroma wheel and the palate radar remain two central visuals of the Tastee report. The wheel brings together every aroma identified in the comments, from the broad families down to the most precise descriptors: a complete map of a wine's olfactory profile. The radar offers an immediate visual reading of the palate profile: suppleness, breadth, acidity, structure, balance and length. At a glance, you sense a wine's personality, its strengths and its overall balance.

This block offers a different angle on the wine, not from the perspective of what is good or bad, but of what most catches tasters' attention. Each characteristic is ranked by how often it is cited in the comments, independently of any qualitative perception.
Clicking on a characteristic unfolds the detail. A global percentage shows the proportion of comments that mention it across the whole session. For each one, two dimensions are then analysed separately: intensity and quality. For each dimension, you know how many comments discuss it out of the session total, and in what proportion they perceive it as high or low, positive or negative, with an immediate visual breakdown.
This level of detail makes it possible to understand not only what stands out to tasters in a wine, but exactly how they perceive it: valuable information for refining a profile, comparing vintages or deepening your knowledge of a wine.
These new reports have been designed to suit every use. For those after a quick read, the visuals and synthetic summaries give a clear, immediate view of a wine's profile. For those who want to go further, each block can be drilled down to the finest detail: precise descriptors, citation frequencies, intensity / quality breakdowns. One and the same data, two levels of reading, so everyone finds what they need.
This new version of the report is only a step. We keep enriching the analysis, refining the indicators and imagining new ways to read taste, together with the people who use Tastee every day.
