Wine Fair of Mâcon 2026

The Wine Fair of Mâcon is one of Burgundy's most popular consumer wine events, and the flagship event of the Comité des Salons et Concours de Mâcon — an institution with roots going back to 1954, the same year as the Concours des Grands Vins de France. Now in its 22nd edition, the fair draws wine lovers and enthusiasts to Le Spot, Mâcon's Exhibition Park, for three days of tasting, discovery and direct encounters with producers from across France.

Mâcon is the natural home for such an event: the capital of Southern Burgundy sits at the crossroads of some of France's most celebrated wine regions, and the city's viticultural and gastronomic heritage make it the ideal setting for a fair built around quality, accessibility and authenticity. The 2026 edition builds on a strong record — last year's event attracted 6,500 visitors — and introduces several innovations, including an opening to international wines for the first time, with Italian wines from Calabria and a selection of Portuguese wines and ports.

The 2026 fair brings together 100 exhibitors: 75 wine stands representing more than 140 French appellations, and 25 gastronomy and terroir product stands. A new wine tourism area allows visitors to explore the wine regions and experiences on offer across France, while animations including a wine treasure hunt run throughout the three days.

What to expect

The fair is open to all — from the seasoned collector to the curious first-timer — and offers a genuine tour of France's wine heritage in a single venue.

Taste over 140 French appellations — Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Corsica, Loire Valley, Rhône Valley, Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, South-West and more, plus international guests
Meet producers directly at their stands for conversations about their terroirs, vintages and winemaking methods
Buy bottles at producer prices — bring home your discoveries directly from the source
Discover gastronomy — oysters, regional cheeses, charcuterie, ravioles and other French terroir products for food and wine pairings
Explore the wine tourism area — a new space to discover wine regions, estates and oenotourism experiences across France
