The MUNDUS VINI Summer Tasting 2026 takes place from 27 to 29 August 2026 in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany. Organised by Meininger Verlag, MUNDUS VINI – Grand International Wine Award is one of the most important, state-recognised wine competitions in the world, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026 and offering excellent wines an international stage twice a year.
Each edition sees thousands of wines submitted from producers, traders and importers across the globe. A jury of independent experts from more than 40 countries – including oenologists, winemakers, wine retailers, sommeliers and specialist journalists – blind tastes every sample and provides professional feedback. The best wines are awarded the coveted MUNDUS VINI medals: Grand Gold, Gold or Silver, recognised internationally as a trustworthy guide for trade, gastronomy and consumers.
The Summer Tasting 2025 edition saw more than 1,800 wines awarded from all major wine regions worldwide, reflecting the breadth and international reach of the competition. Results are published in national and international specialist media, online and on social media, giving award-winning producers powerful marketing recognition that lasts well beyond the event itself.
