James Suckling Great Wines World returns to Tokyo on 4 November 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi. The fourth and final stop of the Great Wines World Asia 2026 tour, the Tokyo edition brings together Japan’s most discerning wine professionals, collectors and enthusiasts for a high-energy, walk-around tasting featuring the world’s finest wines.

Japan is one of the world’s most sophisticated wine markets, with a strong culture of premium consumption, a highly educated on-trade and a collector base that values both classic regions and emerging origins. Great Wines World Tokyo showcases wines from more than 120 producers across 60 of the world’s greatest regions – all rated 92 points or above by James Suckling – in the elegant setting of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.
