The Grand Weekend des Crozes-Hermitage is the flagship annual event of the Northern Rhône Valley, held over three days at Espace Eden in Mercurol-Veaunes. Now in its fifth edition in 2026, the event brings together around 50 of the most emblematic caves and maisons from the northern Rhône Valley for a wine market, a foodie village and a series of evening "Off" events hosted directly by the producers.
The Crozes-Hermitage appellation covers the largest growing area in the northern Rhône, stretching across granite, clay-limestone and pebbly soils on the left bank of the river. Its wines — powerful and aromatic Syrah reds alongside elegant Marsanne whites — sit alongside its illustrious neighbours at this event: Condrieu, Cornas, Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Saint-Péray are all represented among the producers present.
The 2026 edition introduces new activities designed for curious and seasoned visitors alike: guided tastings, speed tasting sessions and in-depth masterclasses join the classic market format. Previous editions have attracted over 2,700 visitors from Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Geneva and beyond.
The weekend unfolds across three main formats:
