The Sweet & Fortified Wines Session of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026 brings together sweet and fortified wines from all over the world, highlighting styles shaped by concentration, balance and long ageing potential.
Scheduled from 9 to 11 October 2026 in Thuir, Roussillon (France), the session takes place in a region internationally recognised for its expertise in the production of naturally sweet and fortified wines.
Throughout the competition, wines are evaluated by an international jury during blind tastings, following a strict and transparent protocol designed to ensure consistency and impartiality.
As with other CMB sessions, the judging process integrates Tastee technology developed by Winespace, enabling the analysis and synthesis of tasting notes into clear, actionable feedback for producers.
For professionals, this session offers a sharp overview of the global sweet and fortified wine landscape, combining high-level tastings with meaningful professional exchanges.
For producers, it represents a recognised benchmark, an opportunity to compete for international awards and a lever to strengthen market visibility.
