The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Sweet & Fortified Wine Session 2027 is a leading international competition dedicated to sweet and fortified wines from around the world. It will take place from 14–16 May 2027 in the Douro, Portugal — a first for the region, as the Douro has never hosted the CMB before (Portugal itself previously hosted the competition twice, in Lisbon in 2006 and Braga in 2012, but never in this specific wine region), the birthplace of Port wine. This edition is exceptionally held at the same time and place as the Red & White Wine Session.
Over these three days of tasting, a panel of international experts will gather to blind-taste the wines, following the rigorous quality and objectivity criteria the competition is known for.
The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles uses Tastee, the technology developed by Winespace, to analyse and synthesise the tasting comments from each taster and provide every producer with precise, detailed feedback on how their wine was perceived by the jury.
For wine professionals, this session is a unique opportunity to discover current trends in the sweet and fortified wine market, taste a wide selection of exceptional international wines, and network with tasters, winemakers and buyers from around the world in a setting that is both professional and convivial.
For producers, don't miss the opportunity to have your wines evaluated, earn prestigious medals (including special trophies in several categories), and boost your wines' visibility among trade professionals and international consumers.
This session is one of the four components of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, a prestigious competition renowned for its impartiality, rigorous organisation and impact on the commercial recognition of medal-winning wines.

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles uses Tastee, the technology developed by Winespace, to analyse and synthesise the tasting comments from each member of the jury during the 2027 Sweet & Fortified Wine Session. This technology turns individual tasters' impressions into a complete, consistent description of each wine evaluated.
For producers, this approach is a genuine sales aid: an aroma wheel, a detailed wine description and a written comment are available to download after the session, ready to be used directly in commercial and marketing activities with your customers and distributors.
